What is going on with my iPod, and how do I fix it?

I have silver, 80 GB video iPod (latest generation, but i don't know which it is). I came home today and found this message on my ipod.

"This game cannot be launched. This may be the result of a full iPod. For more information, please visit http://apple.com/support/ipod."

(Note: my iPod is definatly not full. I have maybe 4 GB used up on there so far)

I have tried pushing all the keys, including the hold button. They are not responding. When I plug it in, the computer makes the sound that registers that it has plugged in, but the ipod icon does not show up on itunes.

Help!

  1. if you press play button and select (the middle "O" one) button together and hold it for few seconds, it will take you might be able to connect to itune (your ipod has to be plugged in on your computer) if you get that far just reset your ipod (it will erase everything on your ipod)
