We had a great team a couple of years ago. We were unstoppable. Look at us now! Do you think we will ever be back on top of the ladder, or have we had our day? Why do you think we are failing miserably? The loss of Lynch? The problems with Aka?

  1. It is a curse of excessive success. The more you have success, one tents to retain the same players. However, these players are getting older. And footy is a game for blokes who are young and take hits without getting injure. BL players are getting old, getting out of form, and getting niggling injuries which is causing them to miss games. It is very difficult for them to run alongside young teams such as bulldogs right now. BL will reach bottom and they will rise again, but for that, one has to wait another 5-6 years.

  2. They're too old

  3. All it means is the draft system works. They have also had there salary cap decreased to be more in line with what the melbourne clubs can spend. I think the last 6yrs have proved that it's not so hard to get young players to relocate to Brisbane, they lost a few but every club does. The only problem with the draft is theres no quick fix, clubs cant really splash money around like league and union they just have to wait there turn.

  4. no i dea but how good is it to see the mighty fall. i guess they call it a reality check
