  1. The air and water are cleaner now than they were 50 years ago, at least in the US.

So things will probably look even better.

  2. I am sad to say that the outlook is not good.I have two children and it hurts me to see what we are doing to our land and air that will destroy what my children could of had.

The amount of waste that is placed in the ground and chemicals discharged in our waterways which by the way is allowed to a certain extent by our government will never recover to the way it was even 10 years ago.

Where we live in Switzerland nothing is buried in the ground it is incinerated or recycled.I hope that the technology continues to at least attempt to keep up with this crisis but complete restoration in my opinion is non-existent.I believe the government of our country the good old U.S.A will continue to bury problems with pollution the same way they bury other problems eg. homelessness and health care for the elderly. Those are just a few of the many problems that they feel are better left underground.
