What is going to happen with the Toronto Maple Leafs?

Question

First off, will the team have to have a rebuild.

Second, if we win the Stanley Cup will toronto riot just as much as Montreal?

Second. Ain't happening for a while. Last time they won I was too young to riot, next time I'll be too old. hmph. Go figure.

The team has been rebuilding for decades.  Yes, you need to rebuild again.  Yes, in 20 years when you get close to winning again I would expect a riot.

Firstly, they are rebuilding, and for the better. But please know that they will NOT win the Stanley Cup in the near future, if they do within the next 20 years, sure, they might riot, and I think they'd deserve to.

...Let's just say I don't this the Metropolitan Toronto Police Department is too concerned about preparing for a Stanley Cup winning riot anytime soon...They'll worry about the Toronto Argonauts winning a Super Bowl before that happens...

hopefully Toronto will have the presence of mind to not riot until they acually win the Cup, not after they win after going seven games with a team most people thought they should have swept... this type of arrogance is always hubris.

The Marlies did good so that might not be a bad thing...

BUt yeah... a goalie, a coach, a GM... leadership, heart, defense... these are all things Toronto could use.

The team is already rebuilding. I also doubt the Leafs will win the cup any time soon. With the rebuilding process, its gonna get a lot worse before it gets good.
