  1. the guy that said sony is good probably hasnt had a lot of other kinds before....ur head unit is perfect...instead of going with sony and kenwood, u should have kept up with pioneer premier....there subs r awesome.there door speakers r good too..all better than sony and its not much of a price difference either..i prefer mtx audio thunder amps though...very underrated

  2. NO SONY Please...they are c**p!

If you have to go with one of these brands go Pioneer..why not up your dollars and go Boston accoustics and MTX thunder sub x 2.

No 6x9's they are a waste of money!!!

Run the fronts through the splitters and if possible through a amp  (make sure you have decent tweeters too).

Pioneer head decks are pretty good so well done there.

Sony do not last and they do not sound that good (they are for wanna be's that think their cool coz you hear it outside the car ......meanwhile sounds **** inside).

Good Luck i would reccomend spending a few more dollars upfront on really good brands that will last for ages and put up with some serious punishment - my front speakers & tweeters set me back $2k on their own)

    HAVE FUN WITH IT

  3. I'd definintely not get the sony speakers.  Of the brands you listed, pioneer would be my choice.  I'd get a different sub and amplifier for the sub section and add an amplifier for the front speakers.  I also would not go with any 6x9 speakers and wouldn't use any rear speakers at all, period.

Pioneer makes good head units so you're ok there.

  4. I would recommend Sony speakers because i have Sony speakers in my car and they work very well.

As for the price, i think it`s pretty good.

  5. Question to you:

Have you heard all this stuff that you are debating?  If you're going to spend $1100 (and I don't care what currency), you should know what this will sound like before you even put it into a car audio environment. (which is tougher then a showroom floow to put car audio into.)

If you really think Sony is better then Kenwood/Pioneer in the car audio arena, then that's the way for you to go.  My opinion is Sony makes great TV's and the like ... but car audio, they're not that great.
