I have an associates degree in business administration. I work at a retail store as a salesman making 9.25 and I am a college student but I do have an associates degree. I work at a shoe store. I would like to work in a company that I can advance in. I really like my company but I wanted to see If I shoul explore other options.

Honestly, an associates degree counts for almost nothing unless it's for a trade like HVAC, auto mechanics, x-ray tech, etc.

$9.25 isn't bad for a student working part-time. You could look for jobs at your college, but I bet they'd pay less.

Are you continuing in business or moving into another field? If you're preparing for something else, try to find a job in that field.

If you like your shoe store, consider that you can always move up in that company. Once you have a bachelor's degree and a few years of working for them, you can move up the ladder, or into a job at their corporate office. or into a job with a shoe manufacturer.
