What is good economic easy reading material?

To start with Google (Money as Debt). It is a short animated documentary but it really describes our monetary system. Excellent place to start. Another documentary although long is called (The Money Masters) very informative and well researched if you can get past the narrator shaking his pen all the time, it really gives a lot of info.

I highly recommend Freakonomics.  It gives you a better understanding as to how economics is applied in everyday life.  It's a great, fun read.
