Truly Comodo(free of cost) is in 23rd place while zone alarm(it does cost) in top 3

A good firewall is a good antivirus.That's what I say.I personally disabled the firewall because it won't let me connect to the internet.Anyway the basic ideea is:GET AN ANTIVIRUS THE FIREWALL IS JUST SLOWING YOU DOWN!(or at least that's what happening to me lol)

Comodo outperforms ZoneAlarm, both of which I have used although I prefer Online Armor which is also free.

If you are looking for the better one in these two, i will recommend Comodo Firewall. Because this zone alarm will cause a lot of discomfort while we use it.

Would go with 'comodo Firewall Pro', since its one of the only firewall that gets updated which is very important as 'attackers' do find vulnerabilities in security based software & the need for patching those 'holes' becomes very essential to render it immune to attacks.Moreover, as all these are done 'free' it stands next-to-next to some of the best paid version out there which is quite outstanding..........
