  1. Try reading "Potatoes not Prozac" good book with lots of info.


  2. Walnuts and bananas in a cake.

    Hickory nuts are also high in seratonin.


  3. Exercise, omega-3 pills, fish oil, amino acid called Taurine, meditation, deep breathing.  

  4. The ingredients for making serotonin are 5-HTP and vitamins.  You need a really good multivitamin and 50-100mg of 5-HTP.  This can cause drowsiness so you may want to add in some L-Tyrosine to counter act that.  5-HTP alone won't do it.  It's like making a cake.  You need flour but you also need other ingredients.  5-HTP is like the flour and the vitamins are the other ingredients.

  5. Sam-E,  5HTP, St Johns Wort are all good for this. Just do some research and choose wisely and check for any allergy's you may have.
