What is good foundation for me????

1st of all, I have oily, dry, and blemishy skin. I have been using this Stilla foundation for the past month and it is very cakey although it lookds good. I also use this Neutrogena concelor which works great. I have a golden skin tone, and I have been looking for some better foundations. The price doesn't really matter to me, because I will pay anything for good foundation.

Thanks! :)

  1. Lots of people look beyond Chanel, but it is honestly the best makeup i've used and has foundation with sheer coverage (Teint Innocent) to heavier coverage

YSL Touche Eclat is the best concealer out there

  2. Since you have oily and dry skin, plus the acne, i suggest CoverGirl Fresh Complexion Pocket Powder Foundation. My friend uses this foundation.....it looks very good on her, and she has the same type of skin as you....for me, i have oily skin with acne, and it sometimes is dry, but i use CG Clean Pressed Powder Fragrance-Free. It works great too! (i don't use foundation)

  3. First of all... find a good skin care system for yourself. That is the one thing that really matters far more than any foundation that you can put on your face. I'd consult anyone at a good makeup counter on that, although Clinique is known for being good with skin care products.

Now, as far as it goes for foundation, I'd say go to a counter where they can sit down with you and talk about what would be good for you. I'd say MAC, Clinique, Prescriptives, or BareEscentuals would be good for finding something that'd work well for you. Mineral foundation is actually good for anyone's skin most of the time, so I'd recommend that before I'd go for any liquids or powders that are a cocktail of chemicals.

The best thing to do is find a place where they'll take the time to help you figure out which foundation is best for you.

  4. Really I think Mark. is the best foundation. It covers well and never looks cakey or overdone. I have blemish prone skin and it covers beautifully and NEVER breaks me out. It's a really great product that most people would say compares to the top brands like Chanel and Mac but is a fraction of the price. You can get it here: http://llombard.mymarkstore.com and if you want tips on how to put it on go to http://markgirl.com and a professional makeup artist has done videos on how to use the mark. products effectively. Good luck!!

  5. There are two brands that I like, and I have skin like yours. One is Mary Kay, and the other is Origins. I don't wear make-up very often, because it tends to make me itch, but these two brands don't. Here are some links.

The Origins brand Stay Tuned foundation works especially great for those of us with combination skin, and it's definitely my favorite! Yeah, it's $20.00 an ounce, but it's very worth it.
