What is good or worth buying makeup at Mac or sephora?

I don't really need eyeshadow but i have heard of so many different products..I know its great makeup, expensive too but what makeup is great there?

If you try Gerda Spillmann, you will never switch!  It has been around in Europe for over 50 years.  The make-up is cream based and can be applied with your fingers.  It is a sun BLOCK. It has been used on all the networks for years.

If you must use make-up, use something that will protect your skin and allow the largest organ of your body to function properly!  It has a nice fragrance and lasts forever.

The Swiss are always right about skin...

Sephora brand cosmetics are great. They're (fairly) cheap (compared to all of the other stuff) and they get the job done. Yay sephora...!

MAC is famous for their eyeshadows - the Paint Pots are one of the popular ones, and they double as an eyelid primer too, so the rest of your eye makeup won't budge.  

As for Sephora, I absolutely LOVE Urban Decay products.  If you don't want to shell out $20 bucks for just one shadow, try the palettes.  They give you a variety of colours for about $40 bucks, and if you do the math, it would be around 3-5$ per shadow.  I have the Deluxe Palette, and I don't know what I'd do without it.   The Sephora brand is good too, I've hear good stuff about their colour liners.  

Also, I wouldn't bother buying mascara from either place.  Even if you do find the "perfect" mascara, you'd have to pay around 20$ every couple of months just to replace the stuff.  Not worth it, and lots of drugstore brands work better or the same, for less.

Go to MAC, some of the product brands at sephora aren't as good quality as they should be for the price. MAC also doesn't test their products on animals...MAC anything is great, it is very high quality, and will last you a considerable amount of time if applied with a high quality make up brush (even cheaper ones from QUO work great) the brush uses less product than your hands do. i love their foundation, concealer, studio fix powder (which is a combo of the coverage of a foundation, with the lightness of a powder) and their regular powder, because they come in a lot of different colours so you find one that matches your skin tone. MAC also sells eyeliner which is really good because it contains less wax, so it smudges less easily and stays on longer, and they are also made in germany which manufactures the highest quality of eyeliner. the lip gloss their is not much better than anything from cheaper brands. if you are in for lip gloss, i would suggest body shop's brand because they give you great shine, and a great hint of colour, they also moisturize your lips. ;P

I love the MAC pressed bronzing powder...and the liquid eyeliner is amazing :-)

the foundation is good too, but if you're young you probs don't need it

i love two faced, urban decay (they have awesome edgy stuff) i love the sugar eyeshadow palete i use it like everyday! but go to sephora and ask someone who works there for advice! they show u adorable stuff!!
