What is good photo editing software ?please help?

i want to change the background on my picture and add real special effects to it.

something that i can use to make posters and with a lot of special effects

s***w elements. get adobe CS3 photoshop or light affects. both amazing programs. you can torrent both of them but it will take a long time to download. light affects is probably one of the best built programs out there! works perfectly. its also has cool features like panorama mode and lighting mods.

That would be GIMP, it has many features of Photoshop and costs nothing.

A very good Photo-Editing software available is Adobe PhotoShop, but only a 30-day trial for PhotoShop is available for free. To try it out go to http://www.adobe.com/downloads

A free alternative to PhotoShop is GIMP. While it is as powerful as PhotoShop, it's a bit harder to use. If you can't get your head around it, check some tutorials on YouTube:

Yeah... Adobe Photoshop Elements IS the best... I use it all the time... You can even edit your pimples or blemishes on your face in your picture.. it's really good...

once i had this pic and the floor in the pic had spots... I edited it and the floor looked really nice..
