Cart before the horse.  If they don't make it, I can't buy it.  

And Rogernomics beat the c**p out of you folk.  If that didn't make you competitive in the international labour market nothing will.  The solution is to find your Nokia.  There is absolutely no reason why Finland should have any particular industrial success, but then Nokia turned up and kablowie.  NZ has to find their Nokia (and making movies about stunted fantasy folk does not quite cut the mustard).  Nor will sheep products.
