I am wanting my crochet, bead, sew and other what ever else you all could come up with to sell at a flea market/trade day like thing. Can anyone give me some thoughts on what to make? It will be in October so I have to get going LOL. Like I said I crochet, sew, bead, cook, bake and do general crafts.

  1. you could make some jewelry sets of earrings and necklaces

sew a few pieces of great clothing, like shirts, skirts, hand bags, tote bags.

Crochet a few bags, maybe even crochet a recycled bag made of plastic shopping bags, they look excellent. look up in google how to make a crocheted bag from plastic bags.

Let me know what you think!

    Hope this helps!

  3. Most people who attend craft shows are usually pretty crafty people (thus that is why they are attending).  They will often look at products to steal ideas and rarely buy anything as they can "make it themselves."

If you want to really make some money at a craft fair / show, it is best to sell something that people will want RIGHT THEN. I would recommend food products as they will be eaten right there and then and have a much better chance of selling than items that are not needed urgently (like a necklace for example).

    Best of luck.

  4. what about some plastic canvas crafts? I'm currently working on a Christmas village, and I'm so excited about it. Also, afghans sell well in my area

  5. I suggest a variety of things.....baby sweaters, bootees, blankets, crocheted Xmas ornaments, jewelry, potholders, hats, scarves, mittens, quick and easy plastic canvas items, home-made cookies, fudge ( always a good seller ) , brownies, etc.
