  1. Hand woven sweaters are nice.

CD and bamboo instrument called "kena" both preferable.

    Have a nice trip !!

  2. If I were you I would visit their historical curiosities, they are really awesome! What to purchase? You can’t help purchasing anything with cash in your pocket! – no problem!

  3. Buy some Inka Cola and take that back to the states. It's awesome!

  4. I agree about alpaca, vicuña knitwear.. There are many places to buy them at good prices but I do recommend Alpaca 111, there are stores in Miraflores, San Isidro.. they have the best quality / prices for alpaca knitwear.

Pisco is really good and there are many recipes for drinking it back home and also is great to drink alone.. get a couple of bottles!

  5. From Peru?

Oh, those vicuna and llama sweaters, socks, hats, etc.

Mind you, vicuna wool can be pretty expensive but it's so soft and it'll remain in tiptop condition for ever.

    Music?

    Oh, try musica ANDINA.

There are some new bands, artists that are mixing pop,  new sounds and the traditional music.

    Ask the locals.

    How I envy you!

Oh, yes...a bottle of pisco (or is it pizco? I can never remember).
