What is good to eat when you are sick?

i am sick and i have not a single clue what will get me better as fast as possible.

  3. well chicken noodle soup is good for when your nose is clogged or u feel stuffy but u might want to get chicken stock because it has much better things in it than and u might want to put some pepper in the things u eat because it helps clear the germs out of ur system. if you feed a cold, you'll have to starve a fever later.What is implied is that if you continue to eat as you normally do when you have a cold your body will need to develop a fever to halt the virus' progress.Try to eat light simple foods like brown rice and vegetables.

  4. you should eat some bland foods such as oatmeal. You don't really want chicken noodle soup because it contains a lot of salt. You should also try to drink as much liquids as possible to help flush out the bacteria in your body and cranberry juice is the best at doing so.  

  5. If you are sick to your stomach, stick to plain food like steamed rice, baked potatoes without toppings, bananas, baked apples with very little sugar, apple sauce and plain toast.

    If you feel a cold coming up, but your stomach is fine, eat chicken soup, citrus fruits, peppers.

    Ginger tea is great both for colds and for soothing an upset stomach.

  8. it depends on what kind of sick you are, the saying goes.... starve a fever, feed a cold... but i always eat homemade chicken soup or close enough to it when i am sick.... always seems to make me feel better. progresso makes a really good italian wedding soup.... always makes me feel better.

  13. The best thing to eat when you are sick is soup. That way you have something hot in your system. And you should also drink lots of water.
