What is good to mix with Jack Daniels besides coke?

Take 2 oz of whiskey and 1 oz of Amaretto, that's called  a Godfather, it's quite good.  But really, it's better with quality whiskey, which Jack Daniels isn't.  Try Maker's Mark, it's not that expensive but way better than Jack.

cranberry juice is awesome, it does not have the sour taste you might think that cranberry juice has.

1 oz Jack Daniel's® Tennessee whiskey

1 oz Southern Comfort® peach liqueur

1 oz triple sec

1 oz sweet and sour mix

5 oz orange juice

Shake ingredients over ice. Strain into mardi gras float cup.
