  1. When you use your credit card, you are borrowing money that someone else earns, and you pay a fee (interest) to the owner of that money, as well as paying it back.

    It, in a way, is a way those with money take advantage of those without it.

    Government debt is when the government does the same thing.  Example:  Borrowing huge amounts of money from Communist China to help pay for the ridiculously expensive and unnecessary (in my opinion) Iraq War.  Is this a good idea.  Not!
