  1. Gurana is a fruit that grows on the Guarana tree native to Brazil. It has a large quantity of caffeine in it but it by itself is not pure caffeine. The Guarana extract Guaranine is the actual caffeine in the fruit.

It is used as a stimulant and is used in sodas, tea, enrgy drinks and Brazilian cocoa. While it is considered safe too much, just like regular caffeine is not safe. The maximum safe level of caffeine intake should be 300mg. Enegy drinks have 80mg, coffee has 85, Tea has 50mg, Green Tea has 30mg and most sodas range from 30-50mg.

Since most people consume too much they have problems. Some people here this but only hear they had caffeine and it was bad. So to them all caffeine is bad and therefore so is Guarana. If you hear someone tell you this you can either inform them or ignore them.

  2. Could you ask the question again please - in English !

  3. idk

  4. some plant thats used for its caffeine. caffeine's bad.

  5. a dried paste that is made from the seeds of a South American climbing shrub (Paullinia cupana) of the soapberry family, that contains caffeine and tannin, and that is used as a stimulant; also : this plant

    yum!

  6. Guarana is a source of caffeine. Nothing more, noting less.

Beverage companies try to disguise their caffeine content, so they will list guarana instead.

It also sounds more exotic, like some ancient South American tribal secret herb. So people are more likely to purchase it.

    It's all marketing.
