What is happening at Alpine Village, Torrance CA.?

I have notice that half of it has been leveled. I checked the website and it proudly proclaims 93 days til Oktoberfest 2008. I guess they intend to rebuild. Any one have any additional info?

They are repaving the entire place first, and then rebuilding a brand new Beergarden with tents from Munich.  I am told there will be two tents, doubling the capacity.  They are also doing remodeling within the stores compound and I'm told they are also planning on building a hotel on the property--though that will not begin until next year.
