What is happening in Denver, Colorado?

Please help me tell what is happening in Denver, Colorado. I know it has to do something with Barack Obama. Please tell me whats happening. I need an answer until 6 'o clock.

Turn on your television set ( that's the funny .ooking thing with the glass face) and you will learn that the Democrats, one of America's 2 national political parties, are holding their national convention.

It's a love fest which they go through every 4 years in order to convince themselves that they are relevant.

The democrats are holding their convention to nominate a president and vice-president to run in the November 2008 election. The republicans will be holding theirs in Minneapolis in September.

The Democratic National Convention is going on this week.  Hillary Clinton is expected to release her delegates tonight so they will vote for Obama.  There is much Hullaballoo regarding this since Hillary supporters are demonstrating outside the Convention and because there is so much lack of support for Obama on the Hillary side.  Also black delegates (mainly delegates from Chicago) are calling other blacks who refuse to support Obama "Uncle Tom's" and claiming that the statement was actually "doubting Thomas".  I believe there cannot even be an illusion of a unified Democratic Party because the more the convention is broadcast the more disenchanted some Democrats are becoming -- so much so that McCain is leading Obama by 2 points for the first time.  Also heard that there was an alleged potential attempt on Obama's life by four men.  They were arrested and much toodo was made of the fact that they had weapons in their vehicles and that one of them even (I believe) was said to have drugs in the vehicle.  It should be noted that it is not unusual for people in Denver to tote guns.  There are some treacherous roads and areas in Denver and guns are useful in self preservation and protection from 2, and 4 legged animals and also those that slither along the ground.  I agree that you should turn on your radio or your TV and listen.  You can get the gist of what's going on by listening to the news for about 1 hour or reading the paper.
