trully a champion, a great server to india. he was circumspect about mendis before the first test, and seemed that he was doing his homework to tackle mendis. but then 3 out of 3 he has got out against mendis. is it because poor run of form or internal pressure for his position in the team??

Will mendis get laxman for the 3rd time also???

  1. Two reasons

    Currently out of form

Lack of confidence & lot of pressure mainly due to media bashing

  2. Dravid is woefully out of form.  I hope this situation will not last long and he will come back to his form in the next innings.

  3. i feel dravid is frustrated since he was neglected into the squad for champions trophy despite his good performance in the recent matches he played for his state....so he is facing a lot of pressure...may be that could be the reason of his current bad form

  4. he was to old

  5. mendis has given 6 runs an over so far in his 14 overs

he should be taken off the attack before viru hits a double hundred in no time.

    Dravid is struggling

hope he gets in form soon

  6. Then tell me what's happening to Sachin??

  7. Dravid was not out legally, a catch of Helmet is illegal !

India will finsih this Mendis drama soon, see the guy has got two wickets but he is going for around 5.25 runs/over, which is expensive in a test match, lol !

his wickets will keep reducing and runs/ over will keep increasing as he plays more against our batters, lol !

  8. poor form

  9. Dravid = is not young enough to play- its better for him to take retirement and take rest - if possible he can be a commentator

  10. Dravid has been out of form for a long time now. Because of his past, he is being retained, at the cost of his team. It is time Dravid realises that he is a burden being carried by his team and say 'i quit'. Already he is out of ODI cricket. Or else, he should do his best in this series after which he should announce 'retirement'.

It all started after his 2006-07 BAN v IND series in which he scored 192 runs off 3 innings in 2 tests. After that it is down all the way as given below:

    2006-07 SAF v IND: 3 matches, 6 innings, 125 runs.

    2007 ENG v IND: 3 matches, 5 innings, 126 runs.

    2007-08 IND v PAK: 3 matches, 5 innings, 191 runs.

    2007-08 AUS v IND: 4 matches, 7 innings, 237 runs.

    2007-08 IND v SAF: 3 matches, 4 innings, 178 runs.

2008 SRL v IND: The series is in progress.

It is time the selectors look for a replacement for Dravid. Dravid should remember how the great Lara announced retirement even after an excellent series performance in Pakistan, his last series,  wherein he scored 448 runs in 5 innings & 3 matches.

  11. Actually Dravid wasn't out! The ball hit the helmet of Warnapura and then he caught hold of the ball, and a catch of the helmet is not a valid catch, so i think Dravid was unfortunate to be out!

Even, Dada and Sachin got out very easily, anyways i hope that VVS plays well today! Sehwag was just fantastic yesterday, i hope he repeat the same performance today!

  12. nothing wrong with him.. u cant expect scores every time.. he will score surely.. its all about mental preparation

  13. Dravid is out of form

  14. I think he is jus not playing well as he allways used 2.

  15. Hmm... A dravid fan...yeah Me too. I used to tell myself, bad times, bad times, but now I've given up. So what if he's older? I bet he's fitter than Robin Uthappa!! Anway, i think its a mixture of bad form+ bad luck! Hope it gets better...
