What is happening to Zone alarm

zone alarm pro has been beaten by pc tools firewall plus in the matousec firewall challenge. is zone alarm losing it's touch?

I don't like Zone Alarm, I used to have it. Use Avast Anti-virus instead - find reviews of it on Google and I promise you will almost always hear only the best things about it.

ZoneAlarm is no longer as effective as it was, many others are doing better on port connection protection (HIPS). PCTools is a small but powerful firewall, which is great for novices.

From what I've heard from a number of support sites is that there are a lot of cable modem users that lost their ability to connect to the internet after their last large update. It was a huge disruption and a lot of people were told it was ZA so many people are going elsewhere.

Avast has a firewall. but me i use Zone alarm. The thing is that if you don't go to naughty sites you needn't worry to much.
