  1. Oooh bless.

): My dog had to be put down when he was 10.

He went vicous and attacked me.

We couldn't trust him after that.

    But i don't blame him.

    Just old age.

Your dog is probably deaf of blind,

Maybe it's forgeting things or something.

Take her to the vets, they could be able to do something.

    Worth a try hey?

13 is quite old for a dog,

So you are very lucky (:

I'm sure she'll be fine, Maybe she's just lonely?

How about getting her a little puppy to liven her up a tad?

Good luck. Hope your doggy's all goood.

    Jxx

  2. At her age the problem may be with her hearing or eyesight, or she may even experience dog dementia.  Talk to your vet, there may be medications and treatments that could make her life easier, good luck.

  3. My guess is her senses aren't quite what they used to be, and she's either seeing folks, but not hearing them very well, or she is hearing them, and not seeing them too well.  Either way, she is a bit upset that her world isn't quite the same.  It wouldn't hurt her to have a vet check up to make sure she isn't in the beginning stages of canine cognitive disorder, which is kind of like Alzheimer's for dogs.

  4. that whole multiply by 7 thing is bogus first off. because i had a dog that was 18 once. anyways, i had a cat that did the same thing. she just didnt like to be alone, she was old too. She wouldnt shut up until she found me, only me. Sucked because i have allergies too. anyways. I kept her around because she didnt seem to be in any pain. she was just fine. it wasnt until she started vomiting and had a stroke that i decided it was time.

If your dog isnt in pain, i say hes ok

  5. It sounds as if she is going a bit senile in her old age. Look after her, treasure whatever time you have left with her.

Its heartbreaking when they start to show senile signs like this. Its also likely she might have become deaf or/and blind. Cherish each moment with her....

  6. its prob because she thinks if she barks, someone will come back in the room with her

  7. maybe something scared her, or she's afraid when she's left alone.  she could be going blind of deaf too, and it might scare her when she can't find anyone she panics.

  8. At 13, she could be experiencing the onset of the Canine version of Dementia.  She could also be going deaf or blind.

The best thing you could do for her is have the Vet check her out.

  9. aw i would say take her to the vets just for a check up as she is older, its good to just occasionally. maybe she sjust growing old and lonely? i know that sounds weird but my dog did that when she got older would follow me evrywhere she couldnt bear being  on her own, and she barked a bit to like yours.

  10. I would check with the vet to make sure, but it sounds like she may be going deaf or blind.

  11. The Vets Will Be Able To Advise What To Do And Can See If There Is Anything Wrong

    Hope She Is Okay

  12. She is just feeling alone and wants somebody to be with her. Our Lab/Retriever always wants to be with the family. When we leave her and go to a room that she can't get to, she whines until we let her be with us. You just have to deal with it.

  13. Is she eating and drinking fine? Is she in pain or any sign of distress? Are her hearing and eyesight fine? Is she panting alot or seem confused? Are her gums pale?

If any of the above is happening then take her to the vet right away.
