I know mostly whats happening but I need more information. Like I know the ice caps and glaciers are melting from global warming but what else? I'd really like a website on the subject. Please help. Thanks.

just go watch an inconvienent truth it pretty much clears everything up. its kinda hard to say it all cuz theres like 500 things that will happen. drought, famine, lost coastline alot of stuff.

The environment is doing what it has always been doing, and always will.  It is in a constant state of flux and thus continuously changes in numerous cyclical patterns that last  from decades to centuries.  The ice caps shrink for a while, then they expand again.  I remember in the 1970's it was global cooling that was the impending doom, and in fact I am looking at a cover from Science News magazine from March of 1975 showing a glacier in the process of covering New York City.  Latest data from NOAA indicates the the Arctic Ocean conditions have been cooling and have almost returned to pre-1990 conditions.  The overall average global temperature has been in a general decrease since 1998.  By far most of these changes are natural and there is very little if anything we can do except adapt to these changes.

go to greenpeace.org or globalwarming.org and so basically whast happening is more greenhouse gases like co2 is a major one are being released into the atmosphere and these are gases that trap light and dont let them escape the atmosphere causing the planet to warm. normally light and heat would hit earths surface and be reflected back into space but now because of greenhouse gases theyre being trapped causing warming and also causing the planets albedo to lower which causes even more warming. so basically thats whats goin on. that and deforestation, water pollution and a c**p load of other things lol its bad and i hate it
