What is happening with this introverted guy?

okay,i like this guy who is introverted,reserved,smart,private,the type of person who chooses who he wants to talk too.well,anyway he is in basketball but he is changing.he used to wear sweaters,they made him look like a nerd,well now he wears clothes like a jock.why did he change?to make himself better?

Maybe he changed crowds, peer groups, etc.

he is probably changing because he wants to be accepted by others especially by the guys! i mean if you describe him as a little nerdy, then imagine what other people think or say.
