Question:

What is harder? AP US History or AP World History?

I'm planning on taking an ILP (independant learning program) on AP World History next year (this course in addition to 6 other IB courses). My friends last year called AP US History "a living h**l" while others said that time management was the key. For those who have taken both courses, which would you say is easier? If AP World is on the same difficulty level as AP US, I can better prepare myself. Any advice is GREATLY appreciated.

Thank you, and have a nice day =)

  2. AP US /is/ living h**l.

Unless you're a god with time management, it'll be a hellish class.

  3. us history is harder. It's alot of timeline and dates that need to be remebered. Alot of facts to be memorized like who won what, who was in office when, what events lead to whatever. You'll be learning about the carpet baggers and the boston tea party, ect. As in world history it is more of a story just describing the ancient techniques of other cultures, like the romans plumbing, and the myan cities, and the myan calender. I liked AP world history, it was informative and very interesting at the same time. US history was booooooring.
