What is harder to take care of, a cat/kitten or a guinea pig? ?

Just curious. Oh, and can you list the pros and cons of taking care of one.

guinea pig would be harder...you have to clean their cage (which gets really nasty and it stinks) and the Guinea pigs you can't hold and handle all the time were as a cat can explore the house by its self and its easily potty trained. and the only i don't like about cats is the litter box. . i think ppl with cats are pron to their litter box smell (its horrendous)

I had a guinea pig, but it just didn't work out, It became too expensive. But, with a cat, it's less expensive. And more fun, except that I'm allergic to them....
