Question:

What is healthiest to have at an italian restaurant both for starters and mains?

I love the pizzas and probably in the end will plump for one (plump being the operative word!), either that or carbonara lol, but what should i have be having really for a diet (slimming world) friendly meal?

  1. Pasta with tomato and stay away from the cheese.


  2. For a starter have melon then pasta with a tomato sauce. Stay away from the carbonara sauce or anything cheese based.  

  3. salad! or

    order any starter you like but share it for example order the cheesy garlic bread and share it.

    for main either have a salad, a small pizza or have a pasta dish that has fish or just a plain tomato sauce.

  5. Appetizers: garden salad (with lowfat dressing), minestrone soup, bruschetta, or antipasto

    Main courses: whole wheat pasta with meatless marinara, or grilled chicken or fish with a side of veggies

    Basically just avoid anything that's creamy, fried, and/or covered in cheese

  6. Well tomoto based pasta minus the cheese would  be a good option for the main course

    as for starter they usually have mussels this would be a good starter,

    have fun x*x
