What is herculean furniture?

We just had our furniture cleaned. We have a dog and cat and learned that microfiber is not the best furniture to have with pets -- it captures their oils, etc. The cleaner mentioned that "herculean" furniture is best with pets. What is that? Is he talking about a brand of furniture or the fabric? I looked online and can't find it anywhere.

It's Herculon, and is no better than anything else if the pets have access to the furniture.
