What is high school like ?

High school is what you make of it. It can be the best days of your life or the worse. There is going to be drama and pressure but if you stand up for yourself and stay in what you believe in you'll be fine. Like the other person said it is nothing like tv or movies it is totally different it can be hard at time and easy fun and bad. Like i said it what you make of it.

I've almost finished high school and it has been the worst time of my life so far. The people at my school are really nice, and the classes are fine, but everyone is at that stage where they are discovering who they are and what they want to become. Result = fights, losing friends, feeling insecure, feeling isolated. It sucks.

High School is very similar to Middle School/Junior High. Middle school and Junior High were much more social rank based, and everyone was trying to be "popular". I found that in High School, that died out a little bit. There were still cliques and reputations, and A LOT of drama, but it was less "popularity" oriented.

Many people find High School to be one of the best times in their lives, so I wouldn't worry too much about it. And at least it's only four years. :)

You will have large number of friends . variety of games to play, good teachers and a good Head Master .That is why you should enjoy the high school

Ahhh high school. Well, whatever you do DO NOT believe what you see on TV, high school isn't even close to that.

Basically, high school you travel from one class to the next usually in a six to eight hour day. Classes are separated into period or blocks, with lunch and recreation times in between.

High school is unpredictable. No one will shove you into trash cans or give you a swirly, though.

Just realize that how you do now will affect the rest of your life. Don't slack off; do your work so that you can get into a better college and get a better job. But realize that it isn't worth your sanity. Try your best but don't push yourself to the limits.

highschool is a time when i truley feel that you figure who you are. You go through more changes then you do through puberty once when you enter highschool...you lose friends, make new ones and go through many challenges like studying for exames, craming, dealing with people and teachers at school and so much more... im almost finished with my highschool career and i truley feel that it is unpredictable... if you going to be a feshman...you will feel intmidated... thats what i felt like, whn i walked into my highschool for the first time, i was terrified bc i saw all thes older kids and it is like being st the bottom all over again...at times you can be teased bc you are a underclassmen or people can be really supportive... it all depends on who you choose to hang with...highschool is also a bigger step from middleschool... believe it or not, but middle school didnt even count (well maybe a little bc it determine on what classes your in) but other wise, collages dont even look at middle school... you really have to step up your game bc collages start looking at you from freshman year to jr year and you dont have time for s***w ups... dont mess around if your serious about your future... it is also good to take honors or ap classes play sports and join clubs... but besides of the hard work, it is truley a good learning experiance and you can have fun at the same time with your friends if you chose to make it that way
