  1. a hot day in the desert is hotter

    however

when your in a tropical rainforest, it feels much hotter because of the extreme humidity

  2. it would feel hotter in the tropical rain forest though it would probably be hotter in the desert because a tropical rain forest has more humidity.

  3. Just as there is "wind chill" which makes a cold day seem colder depending on wind velocity, there is also a "heat index" which will make a hot day seem hotter depending on the humidity.

A 105 degree day in Nevada (very low humidity environment) is many times more tolerable than a 105 degree day in Miami, once again because of humidity.   With a high heat index (humidity greater than 85-90%)  a 105 degree day in the tropics can feel like 111 degrees.

  4. in da dessert it fells cooler cuz its dry air and low humidity.in da tropics the air fells heavy and your goin to sweat a lot faster then in dessert heat because heat index can go 10 degrees more than the actual temperature.

  5. Most likely the desert would be hotter, although the rainforrest would feel hotter because of the relitive humidity,

As in a humid envoronment it is not easy for your sweat to evaporate and take the heat with it, But in the desert this would be relitively easy

  6. The desert will always be hotter because the jungle canopy or tops of the trees will deflect much of the Suns ultra violet  rays and  acts as a natural cooling agent. The rest of the suns rays will be absorbed into the greenery and photosynthesized. As a result, the trees grow taller and thicker, covering more of the ground, thus making it cooler.
