Hybrid golf clubs replace the 2, 3, and 4 irons(sometimes 5 iron).  They come in the same lofts as a 2, 3, or 4 iron.  They are much easier to hit than long irons.  They can be hit high and land soft on the green.  I have 3 hybrids and love them.  They can come as an iron wood or a fairway wood.  Every manufacturer makes hybrid clubs.  Go to any manufacturer website and there will be hybrids for you to look at.

think of it as a long iron that has the center if gravity moved behind the club face like a driver.  its longer than an iron and shorter than a fairway wood.  x

They look like fairway woods but smaller head. They replace long irons (2 and 3 are the popular one for men, 3 and 4 are popular for woman). They generally hit a bit longer than your normal long irons, but a lot easier to hit consistently than long irons.

Many different types of hybrids. Depending on how you plan to purchase them, you can buy them singly from 2-6 hybrid. They will replace your long irons.
