What is ideal weight for a 6months old baby boy?

My son is just 5 & 1/2 months old and he weighs 6.4 KG.Can any body tell me what is ideal weight for 6 month old boy in terms of KG

my baby is nearly 5 months old and weighs 7.7kg. he was 9pound one when he was born so he continues to be in the higher percentile, check with ur local child health nurse if u are worried.

There's no ideal weight.  If your son is healthy, that's ideal!

He's at around 5-8th percentile on the charts.  That's perfectly normal.

It really depends on alot of factors, and all babies are different!

The health visitors say that by 6 months most babies will have doubled their birth weight, so if you double your baby's birth weight you should have an accurate answer. My son weighed about 7kg when he was 6 months old.
