  1. Is that TransUnion score FICO or Fako?  Unless you specify FICO, you probably have the Fako score TransUnion and Experian use.  Fako scale runs to 950 while FICO only goes to 850.

  2. Trans Union uses a range of 501--990.  A 754 ranks as a "C" on their scale.  (A: 990-900, B: 900-800, C:800-700,  D:700-600, F: 600-501).

A FICO score ranges from 300-850.  You can get your FICO at www.myfico.com

  3. The FICO scoring scale runs from 300 to 850. The vast majority of people will have scores between 600 and 800. A score of 720 or higher will get you the most favorable interest rates on a mortgage, according to data from Fair Isaac Corp., a California-based company that developed the credit score

The 5 most important factors to determining your FICO credit score are:

       1. Your payment history

       2. The amount of outstanding debt you have compared to your credit limit

       3. Your credit history

       4. The types of credit you use

       5. Credit Report Inquiries

  4. Your Fico is the middle of all 3 credit bureaus. Your transunion credit score is GREAT. The national average is 680. However  a creditor is not going to extend you credit with no income to pay it back.

  5. Lenders use three bureaus to determine your creidit worthiness or lack of, Trans Union and Experian are the two most used and Equifax.  Your score ranges from 350-850 350 being you cannot finance a twix bar with $1 down and an 850 means you can have whatever you want when you want and they dont care where you live or how much you make.  A 754 is very high, above the national average.  However that part about not having income is the kicker, a lender needs to know you can pay back what your borrowing typically they cap your monthly payment at 1/4 your monthly gross, so $0 income = $0 you can pay back.  Keep your score up, and with 2 years at same address and 2 years on a job, you can get whatever you want.  Stay out of collections, cell phones, credit cards, and medical bills are the three biggest credit killers.

  6. very good
