Question:

What is implantation bleeding like?

Today is exactly one week from when I ovulated and we've been trying for a baby. When I went to the bathroom this morning I had a very small amount of bright red blood when I wiped. I've read that implantation bleeding is usually brown so I was confused. I put a panty liner on and at the end of the day today I had a very small amount (about the size of a quarter) of brown blood. So could that be implantation bleeding? Sorry if it's too much information!

  1. I think I experienced the same thing a couple of days ago but it was very light pink and only when I wiped I'm not sure if it was implantation bleeding but I don't know what else it could be at 9 dpo

  2. it sounds like implantation bleeding....and I had to use a pantiliner when i experienced this with my first child who by the way was born healthy...so I think everyone's body is different.  Some women just wipe and its there and others may need a pantiliner.  So  wait another week and take a pregnancy test

  3. It might be. It's usually pink or brown bleeding, and you usually don't need a liner or anything for it (it's just there when you wipe). Most women don't even get implantation bleeding. You may have miscalculated ovulation, and this might be your period.
