  1. LOL....Earth's water is limited?  We are running out of drinking water???? HAHAHAHAHHA.  That is the funniest c**p i've heard all day.  Ok, so the water on earth IS limited, but no matter what we do, we can never use up all of the available drinking water on earth.  Ocean water can be turned into drinking water.  Water can be pulled from the ground and made drinkable.  Even the water in the sewers CAN be made drinkable.

  2. earth is running low of drinkable water . 6 billion . earth full . soylent green is people .

  3. that water sustains life. if we don't have a way to replenish the amount the world uses and the water ran out, life wouldn't last much longer.

  4. the amount of water in the world is limited.

the amount of clean water is limited

the amount people and animals need is growing.

scott L, (the guy 2 places below me) it's guys like you who give america its bad name. i can tell youre american by your naive lack of education coupled with an excessive confidence in your own opinion

  5. that the amount used isnt proportional in different countries. (compare North America to Africa, common sense)

THIS question depends on the CHAPTER you're doing in school!

there's sooooo much I could write about.

  6. the water is limited on earth , and more in certains areas , and its hard to clean it , once contaminated , stays  this way for some time , so is important to use all the water you need , but not a single drop more ...

  7. If too much is used and being wasted there will be a time where there is no fresh water left. Yes there is salt water but it can only be turned into fresh water in small quantities. no one has yet discovered a way to do it in large amounts.

  8. Groundwater is limited due to tiling practices by farmers and developers.  If the water can't get to the aquifer, we can't pump it out of the ground to drink.  All the water we used in the past, filtered through the ground to get back to the water table.  Now the filtering channels are limited so more water is put through smaller areas.  This impacts how many contaminants get into the water table.

Freshwater sources are becoming more rare every day.  Even the bottled water you buy isn't always as clean as we are led to believe.

Desalinators for salt water are expensive to operate and maintain.  Some places use icebergs for fresh water.  They get more limited every day, too.

Water is, and always was, the single most important commodity in the world.  Hopefully your generation will get a handle on it.  Mine doesn't seem to care, and if people have the same attitudes as Scott L, only the wealthy people will have water good enough to drink, but they'll pay for it dearly.
