  1. all different kinds of stuff- it depends on what kind.  At Chinese food its usually pork.  My favorite food is veggie gyoza (potstickers) from Trader Joe's!  So so good!

  2. scratch and sniff stickers

  3. Pot stickers usually are made with raw meat fillings in them. They cook during the steaming and frying. So what you had could have had a filling very much like a sausage filling.

  4. the same things that are in won tons.

its usually like a beef or pork base with some vegetables and soy sauce.  however, they can be all vegetarian, or even seafood.

  5. With pot stickers the answer really can be almost anything. There are just as many recipes for using pork, chicken, shrimp, veggies etc. That is one of the great things about pot stickers, there are such a variety of flavors and combinations. For those a bit more twisted watch the movie 'Saam gaang yi' or 'Three Extremes' and you will find a bit more unusual ingredient.

  6. The most common filling is minced pork, maybe with chopped chives or scallions. Or completely vegetarian with chives. If you make your own you can put anything you like. Best dipped in black rice wine vinegar with ginger shreds.

You mean a whole sausage? That's hardly authentic at all. Any meat used would be minced.

  7. It was probably pork.  They are pretty good.

  8. Pork.  You might actually like it, best ones in San Francisco
