What is all indicated in a background check for employment?

Basically it is to see if you have any type of convictions that  you could not be hired.That dont include traffic violations minor.It does include arrested  for drugs or a crime thats the way it is done and oh yes you list all the places and towns you have lived thru and you are  checked to see if you have any basic criminal record of any kind.Has your license been suspended and for what.things like this is what is looked for.
