What is in fluoride exactly? I heard it is pretty disgusting.

What are the ingredients in fluoride, I know why it is used, I want to know what is in it exactly. Please no medical terms, terms that I can understand.

Fluoride is fluoride.  Fluoride is the reduced form of fluorine, which is the 9th element on the Periodic Table.

Dave F is correct. It is not made of ingredients it is pure like oxygen or hydrogen :)
