me and my best friend are going vegirtarian we want to know what is in red meat like protien and things like that so we can find out what to eat to replace red meat.

  1. You can easily replace the nutrition of red meat by eating chick peas, soy products, whole grains, beans and nuts for proteins. If you choose to eat eggs, egg whites are also a good source of protein.

    Also take a multivitamin every day.

    You can get all the protein you need by eating a varied and balanced diet primarily of whole grains, fruits, and vegetables, with protein sources like tofu, beans, and nuts. Since you're a new vegetarian you might enjoy the mock-meats like Boca/Amy's/Yves veggieburgers and so on.

  3. High in protein. You can replace it with a varied diet nuts rice pasta all have some in it but not as much as red meat . Soy products and mushrooms are very good. I don't eat red meat but eat chicken and fish . Consider eating fish cheese and milk products and eggs especially.
