  1. Basically, tea is just 1) water and 2) tea leaves.

After steeping the tea leaves in hot water, they release natural flavors and give the water color.

The chemical components in the tea really depend on what type of tea you would be making. Some teas naturally have less caffeine, like green tea. While other teas, like black teas, have more caffeine.

  2. tea leaf

  3. Tea leaf, water, condensed milk, and sometimes sugar.

  4. As I understand it -

Tea contains caffein, and also tannin.

Caffein acts as a stimulant, and will affect sensitive people's ability to get to sleep.

Tannin puts a 'lining' on the stomach, which helps to suppress the feeling of being hungry.

  5. tea

  6. What do you mean by tea? As in a tea beverage? If you make your own, you only get what you put in it.

Tea leaves do have a low content of caffeine.

Powdered stuff you buy might contain preservatives and sugar/flavouring.

  7. I WAS TOLD IT HAS A SIGNIFICENT AMOUNT OF CAFFEINE IN IT!
