The 'Indie' reports Asda is marketing "8 sausages for 16p".

I think I would rather have toast and marmite!

  1. Sausages during the war were 98% bread, 2% spam! I'd say it was a similar case here. I'd rather not go there to be honest!

  8. Mostly fat, some bread, and some cuts you wouldn't  even want to think about.  Pig's a**s, 'front bum', and tails might be the more salubrious bits in that sausage.

    Makes  me glad   to be a vegetarian.

  11. Don't buy them . Company's are allowed. by law, to put any kind of animal parts into cheap , processed meats. Even blood clots, testicles and hooves. That is the sort of thing that would be in meat that cheap!

  12. When I read things like that, you can't help thinking that there's no need for people to starve, like that poor little girl who died. It also highlights how overpriced some foods are. I'm not a sausage fan. Well, not that kind of sausage anyway. Ooerr!

  15. Well it has to be okay for human consumption or they would be getting sued left right and center.

    buy some and BBQ it then give it to guests if they are okay after eating them then you should be ok too.
