it's when you think you love someone cause their just so awesome, cute, etc... but then you find someone who's cuter, more awesome, etc., and then this first guy isn't all so great anymore.

it just means you think your in love, but your really not.

Infatuation is when the relationship is new, fresh and exciting and you feel like you're in love, but you're not.  Infatuation is more than a crush, but less than being in love.  You'll know when you're in love.
