what is the difference between a gerbil, hamster and a guinea pig? i live in australia and we only have guinea pigs here. was just curious

Gerbils and hamsters are the same thing. a guinea pig is bigger.

guinea pigs are bigger, hapsters are smaller & cuter & im not sure about gerbils

hamsters are small and are similar to mice but with no tail and gerbils hare like a mouse but a little chunkier.

hamsters are much smaller. To break it down hamsters normally are 2-4-6 inches. On the other hand gerbils can grow to be 4-6-8. and im not sure about guinea pigs..
