What is it about Bob Geldof that makes him look so Irish?

there are many good looking men who come from Ireland and many famous faces,

But why is it every Irish family has someone who looks a bit like Bob Geldof?

Basically the Irish have about three looks.

Within this look one may be handsome or plain but still very similar. Consequently you always feel as though you have met someone before.

It's the genes passed down from generation to generation & they have tended to be fairly tribal - catholic marrying catholic often from the same province for example.

Things are beginning to change now.

Think yourself lucky that not every family has someone who sounds like Bob Geldof!
