  1. The reason that I love Rugby is because the thrill of playing and the excitement of watching the game being played.

  2. I like the social aspect of the game-that what first drew me in- My freshman dorm room overlooked the rugby pitch and i saw half naked rugby men running around... and then saw a womens team that hung out with them!  I was hooked.

15 years later- i stay addicted because it is such a well rounded sport that anyone can play and that a lot of different skills levels can play at the same time- together.  I feel like i can always get better at rugby and learn more as I play more.  Its also fun to teach rookies.  I think rugby has helped me become a very outgoing, laid-back, confident woman.  Its also been interesting seeing the changes in how the game is played even in these 15 years.

The shock and awe of "yeah, I got this black eye because I play rugby,"  is always fun too, especially becasue i'm a speech therapist working with kids all day!  I have to explain to their parents, "No I'm not battered at home... I play rugby.  Really, I'm ok!"

  3. I'm a New Zealander.  Rugby is everything.

  4. I like it because every type of person can be included. in soccer and sports the (without being rude) 'fatties' cant play. but in rugby people of all shapes and sizes can play. also the sport isnt completely corrupted by money (though i fear it could head that way) communities are involved and fans feel like a family....plus it beats every other sport into the ground

  5. I like the fact that it's a sport that clearly illustrates that an individual can do very little against collective effort.

Good flowing rugby can only be played behind a solid, tough pack moving forward - this accentuates the importance, elsewhere in life, to lay foundations and construct a platform in order to have the liberty and 'space' to be creative.

Raw creativity and individualism are secondary to teamwork in rugby. If this wasn't the case then Fiji would be the best 15 a side team in the world!

  6. what i find interesting about rugby is the brutality, it is sort of like American football except with no referees and no stoppage of play...almost. The most fun part is probably the crazy harsh tackles laid by everyone. This is what i find interesting about rugby.

  7. in fact i dont, i just find it interesting

  8. I think just the physical ability it demands is amazing. I played rugby growing up and thought it was the coolest game ever,  it tests your speed, strength, power, skills, and mentality as well. I think it's just amazing to watch how even short rygby players are able to get out of tackles and scrums with some cool gooses and cuts. Also the (HAKA), Maori warrior dance, that All Blacks team does before their match (and so do others) is cool.

  9. i like touching other guys.

naw the hardcore hits and the bloody faces and muddy legs and all that mess.. its the greatest feeling when you're done with a game

  10. I love that feeling after u get hit and get right back up and just like wow

  11. I like Fugby

    It's a rucking good game
