  1. Every sport is unpredictable...

Look at the soccer world cup. Nobody was picking a France vs Italy final. The Brazilians and German's were raging hot favourites.

  2. Yes, it is wonderful (now that I am over the shock of my country losing to FRANCE!!) - I am now hoping for Fiji or Argentina to win the cup!

It would be wonderful to see someone break the dominance of NZ-Australia-Sth Africa-England-France.

  3. Yes how good would it be if one of the underdogs were to win the Rugby World Cup.  To thall those teams who make it to the Semi Finals.  Best of luck.

  4. Past matches mean nothing on the day. The beauty of the game is its unpredictability. France and England go through, and NZ and Aussie are on the planes home. Quite a few shock results in this one. I just wish the NZ media would shut the h**l up and stop trumpeting NZ as indisputable favourites. It's embarrassing and insulting to the other teams, not to mention arrogant and cheesy. I love to watch my country (NZ) play, but I could do without all the gloating and hype from the media.

It just makes us a laughing stock when we choke...
