I have never been attracted to this type, only silently offended by them and then avoid them at all costs...so many men seem so perplexed that I don't like this behavior...which makes me so sad that there are so many women who must enjoy this behavior.

What is it about being a jerk that attracts women??

simple normal women are attracted to confident, posturing men who command authority. Women have historically been very quick to lift their skirts for the guys with money and power regardless of their physical appearance or personality. Women are preprogrammed to be shallow and find the most suitable mate.

you got me?  chicks always go for the "bad boys" who treat them like cr-ap.  the dudes that respect them and treat them like queens get stuck in the "friends" category.  then these chicks end up thinking all us dudes are jerks.  explain that one to me.

I wondered this too, but I think it's a severe lack of self esteem in the girls.

******** guys always seem to have all the answers, although it's only through their own arrogance. So, girls like them and go to them.

The nice guys aren't in the limelight because Jerko is always hogging it and appear less desireable.

Throw in the fact that a good bit of women out there are just as arrogant, just as selfish and just as manipulative. The jerks aren't fazed by these types, but the nice ones are and retreat further from those packs.

By reading your question I am thinking that you may not really understand what the term Alpha Male really is. I am hoping you can google this. Alpha male really has nothing to do with being a jerk(treating women badly) or bad behavior. It has to  do with pecking order and respect in the animal kingdom as well as humans. One good example I can give you of a well known Alpha Male is Clint Eastwood. Alpha he is but never a jerk with bad behavior.
