Question:

What is it called the way Nicaraguence people talk?

i know its spanish, but its not like mexicans speak it. my parents are from nicaragua(mom from corinto,my dad from Managua) but Mexican people think i speak spanish weird.... how is it different and what are some words that we use differently?

  1. Nicaraguans call buses bus as Mexican refer to them as camion.  Trocas to Mexicans are trucks but to Nicaraguans is camionetas. But these same words could be used as something else for other latin countries.  If a Mexican was to go to Puerto Rico or Panama he would be considered the strange one.  I was born in Managua but I have a brother married to a Mexican and living in Mexico.  He had to learn their lang.


  2. We are Nicaragüense, not "Nicaraguence".

    We speak Spanish, we primarily use the voseo form (as does Argentina and other countries). Our Spanish is the "Central American Spanish" variety but with our slang and idioms we call our Spanish "Nicañol".

  3. In all the Latin countries there are different means for different words and acent.
